Tara Covell raises clydesdale horses in Cambria, Ca and offers ranch experiences daily. Since the late 1970's Tara's father, Ralph Covell, had a strong passion for breeding and showing clydesdales and was based in Azusa, Ca until he moved his family and horses to Cambria in 1999. When the family faced financial struggles, they needed a way to make a living on the ranch. Tara dedicated her life to preserving the ranch and in 2014 she began offering ranch tours and trail rides, carrying on her family's legacy of clydesdale horses. The Covell Ranch is family owned, and operated by Tara and her crew; they look forward to hosting you and can't wait for you to meet the herd.
